Payment acceptance limit

There is a limitation in terms of the amount for each of the payment methods on Durianpay’s payment acceptance. The following will be the minimum and maximum limit for each of them.

Please also note that there are limitation coming from the bank for paying virtual account via ATM, Internet banking, or mobile banking. Where each bank has different policy.

Credit Card

Credit Cards are low density payment instrument however it remains an extremely critical payment method. With Domestic and International Credit cards, Installments (PayLater) option, Durianpay provides most comfortable range of payment options for end users.

Components and various stakeholders in case of Credit Card Payments are:

  1. Card Scheme:

    Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are among the largest card schemes, also referred to as card networks or card brands

  2. Issuing Bank:

    An issuing bank issues credit cards to consumers on behalf of the card networks (Visa, MasterCard). Issuing banks front the funds to merchant accounts when someone pays with a credit card.

  3. Acquiring Bank:

    The acquiring bank deposits funds from credit card sales into a merchant’s account. An acquiring bank or “merchant bank” manages and underwrites the merchant account that enables the merchant to accept credit and debit cards

  4. Payment Processor:

    Credit Cards are issued across various networks. Durianpay currently accepts – Visa, MasterCard, JCB.

How to Accept Payments on Durianpay through cards:

Durianpay is one of the fastest, secure and reliable payment processor. Durianpay checkout integration allows your customers to submit the payment credentials on our checkout pages This enables easier integration, and sends the payment credentials through API. After your customers add the products to the shopping cart on your website, they are redirected to Durianpay Checkout page to submit their card credentials. This section describes the workflow, features, and benefits of Durianpay Checkout .

Steps and functional requirement

  • The customer selects the payment option through readymade payment page hosted on DurianPay platform.

  • Merchant need to follow integration and technical specification as provided in the developer docs section ( https://durianpay.id/docs/api/payments/charge/#card )

  • Customer enters card credential and submits the information for further.

  • After submitting, customer will be authenticated by his bank and perform authorization /capture.

  • Post successful completion, the bank redirects response to Durian Pay.

  • Durian Pay then post the responses and auth status to merchant in a specified manner as described in out technical specification document. (https://durianpay.id/docs/api/payments/charge/#card)

Merchant reads the status and accordingly deliver service.

Additional Details:

  • Acquiring Bank is BRI which supports all acquiring for onetime credit card payments.

  • Installments supported for below issuing banks:

    • BRI
    • Permata
    • Danamon
    • Bukopin
    • Indonesia
    • OCBC NISP
    • SCB
  • For installment options for issuing banks like – BNI, BCA, CIMB and Mandiri; merchant needs to make a separate request.

  • The minimum transaction amount for Installments is Rp. 500,000.00 and the tenures available are 3, 6 and 12 months.

  • For Permata the minimum transaction amount is Rp. 1,000,000.00 and the tenures available are 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months.
